I think sometimes the path is not clear. I think things exist beyond science. I also believe —through my practice as a master somatic coach — that intentional breath changes heart rate. A shift in breath changes the signals that are sent to the brain. This happens via the vagus nerve. I think sometimes that science doesn’t have all the answers and imagination is more important to healing peoples trauma than knowing. Love your article and the poly vagal theory.
